Swedex proudly presents Strand Original, a new generation of brushcutter blades. With its double-tooth design and optimized back radius, it allows for double the previous cutting speeds. The blade is RPM-optimized to minimize vibrations at high speeds and for rougher cuts, which also reduces fuel consumption by up to 30%.

Unique dual tooth

The new design with dual teeth reduces the risk of the blade getting stuck.

Optimal spine radius

The shape of the spine radius ensures consistent top clearance and also acts as a chip limiter, preventing chip thickness from exceeding 1.8 mm.

High RPM/heat resistant

Strandklingan is RPM-optimized for continuous use at high speeds. It remains stable at speeds up to 12,000 RPM with minimized vibration.

Low fuel consumption

Reduces fuel consumption by up to 30% compared to previous blades.

Fewer sharpenings

The increased chip angle allows for doubling the time between sharpenings. Sharpening instructions are included with the product.

Increased acceleration capability

With a thinner blade body and larger chip space, Strand Original has improved acceleration capability.

Minimized cracking

To prevent cracking, the blade is made from chrome steel (1.54 mm thick) and tempered at 450°C.

Surface treatment

Strand Original is black-coated to minimize and counteract sun glare/reflections.

With a significantly higher cutting speed and improved clearing capacity, Strand Original delivers enhanced profitability and efficiency. Discoveries made during extensive field studies with professional clearing teams show that cutting efficiency results in up to 30% lower fuel or battery consumption, along with significantly longer intervals between blade replacements.

The Strand blade is developed for professional use but has also become very popular among those who clear vegetation less frequently. The reduced vibration in the product provides a comfortable clearing experience.

The brushcutter blade is delivered in a cardboard box that provides excellent protection during transport and storage. For larger users, there is also a bulk package available (10 blades packed in protective packaging of cardboard).

Adjustment and sharpening

Strand HM is equipped with a chip limiter to ensure smooth and even cutting without jerks. When sharpening, it is crucial to maintain a distance of 0.55-0.8 mm between the cutting edge and the chip limiter. If the blade feels too soft, you can file the chip limiter by 0.1-0.3 mm to increase cutting aggressiveness. When using a sharpening station, please specify the correct distance for the best results.
