The story of “Strand Original”.
Strand Original was invented by Åke Strand, which is one of the three that founded Swedex AB in 1983. They sold the company to the industrial group Garpco AB, based in Jönköping in 1997. With a long experience and a well-established name in the industry with great expertise on saw blades, Åke was again raised by the market to solve a well-known problem. The development of saw blades had almost stopped for 40 years. By adapting and applying well-known saw blade manufacturing techniques, Strand Original developed into a market-leading product which, under constant development, takes brush cutting into the forest to new levels.
